How is Energy Healing different from Reiki?

Energy Healing at our clinic blends multiple modalities, including BodyTalk, BodyIntuitive, LifePrintOS, BioGeometry, mediumship, and soul work. While Reiki channels a single form of energy, these sessions use structured protocols, intuitive guidance, and coaching to work with emotional, physical, spiritual, and informational layers of your system.

Do I need to know which modality I want before booking?

Not at all. Your practitioner intuitively selects the techniques best suited for your needs that day. Each session is fully customized. No two look the same!

What might I feel during or after a session?

People often report warmth, tingling, emotional release, deep relaxation, insights, or a sense of lightness. Others notice subtle shifts over the following days. There is no “right” way to experience energy work. Your system responds in the way that best supports you.

Can I combine Energy Healing with Psychotherapy, PAT, RMT, or other services?

Yes. Energy Healing integrates beautifully with our mental health and somatic offerings. Clients often use it to process insights from Psychotherapy, support integration after Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy, reduce stress before or after Massage Therapy, or enhance grounding alongside Acupuncture.

What if I’m skeptical?

You’re welcome here. Energy work does not require belief to be effective. Many clients approach these sessions with curiosity, and the experience - relaxation, clarity, emotional softening - often speaks for itself.

What can I expect in a session?

  • A quiet, supportive environment designed for deep rest
  • A brief intake to understand your intentions for the session
  • Light touch or hands-off energy work performed while you relax fully clothed
  • Sensations such as warmth, tingling, or emotional release may arise
  • Grounding practices or reflections to help you integrate the experience

What’s the difference between Reiki and other energy healing modalities?

Reiki is a gentle, hands-on (or hands-above) energy technique that channels universal life force energy. Other modalities may involve structured protocols, intuitive guidance, or therapeutic dialogue in addition to energetic work.

How many sessions will I need?

Some people feel shifts after one session, while others benefit from ongoing treatments, especially during times of stress, transition, or emotional processing.

Can I combine Reiki with other services like Psychotherapy, Massage Therapy, PAT, or Acupuncture?

Absolutely. Reiki pairs well with our therapeutic and body-based services. Many clients use it to calm the nervous system before Psychotherapy or PAT, or to enhance recovery and relaxation when combined with Massage Therapy or Acupuncture.

Do I need to believe in energy healing for Reiki to work?

No. Reiki supports relaxation and nervous system regulation regardless of belief, and you’re welcome to approach it with curiosity rather than conviction.

What can I expect in a naturopathic appointment?

Appointments involve an in-depth discussion of your health history, lifestyle, and goals, followed by a personalized treatment plan.

Can Naturopathy be combined with conventional medicine or therapy?

Yes. Naturopathy is often used alongside medical and mental health care to support comprehensive treatment.

Is Naturopathy suitable for preventive care?

Absolutely. Many people use naturopathy to optimize health, manage stress, and prevent future concerns.

Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy (PAT) FAQs

PAT creates a rapid “reset” in the brain by quieting the Default Mode Network (DMN), which can trap people in rumination, anxiety, and rigid thought loops. With the DMN softened and neuroplasticity enhanced, clients can:

  • Process trauma more freely
  • Reduce fear and self-judgment
  • Engage more openly in therapy
  • Break repetitive negative thought patterns
  • Build lasting change through integration therapy

KAT is a good option for those seeking support for conditions such as treatment-resistant depression, anxiety, PTSD, chronic stress, or emotional patterns that haven’t responded to traditional therapy alone.

Yes. Certain medications used in Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy are approved drugs that are prescribed off-label, and others require case by case approval by regulators in order to prescribe.

Not necessarily. Many clients continue taking their current medications during ketamine treatment. Our medical team will review your medication list during your consultation to ensure there are no contraindications or adjustments needed for your safety and the effectiveness of your sessions.

Psychedelic medicines can be given IM, IV, intranasally, or orally. At New Track, we use sublingual administration, the standard practice in Ontario.

No. Safety and fit depend on your medical history and personal healing needs.

Adults experiencing depression, anxiety, trauma-related conditions, addictions, or chronic pain may be eligible, based on clinical assessment. Eligibility is decided after a medical evaluation.

You may feel different or altered, but your therapist is there to guide and keep you grounded. You are always in a safe, supportive space.

Yes. Most clients remain conscious and able to speak, though they may feel relaxed or introspective.

Research shows improved mood and personality shifts in the days and weeks after PAT. Many clients experience lasting improvement within hours of treatment.

No. Psychedelics impair coordination, so you’ll need to arrange a ride home with a trusted companion or professional service.

You should avoid hazardous activities for 12–24 hours. Avoid critical decision-making for 14 days and avoid alcohol or other substances 24 hours before and after sessions.
